What are the problems faced by China's intelligent manufacturing? Since the 21st century, the world economy has developed rapidly. Throughout today's society, intelligent manufacturing technology is undoubtedly one of the important directions for the future development of the world's manufacturing industry. The transformation of different industries to intelligent manufacturing with the help of information industry technology is also a management method pursued by many enterprises. However, there are still some problems.

1. The executives of the enterprise are unconscious

Enterprise executives do not realize the necessity, urgency and complexity of intelligent manufacturing, and the concept is still in the deployment of commonly used IT systems. In fact, digital transformation is far from what the IT department can achieve. It must be led by the decision-making level of the enterprise and promoted from top to bottom.

2. The enterprise information system is not perfect

Enterprises have applied many information systems, but isolated islands, due to inaccurate basic data and inconsistent coding systems, make it impossible to promote intelligent manufacturing.

3. Heavy automation, light intelligence

Many enterprises believe that the effect of promoting the automation system can be more immediate, so there is a general situation where the emphasis is on automation and less on intelligence. After visiting many enterprises, I found that enterprises pay more attention to the automation and less labor of production lines, but the foundation of equipment networking and data collection is poor, and the workshop does not really realize visualization.

4. Ineffective digital transformation

Enterprise investment to promote digital transformation has not achieved significant results, which restricts the enthusiasm of enterprises to further promote intelligent manufacturing. For example, although some companies have invested in self-built e-commerce platforms, in an era when traffic is king, customers are still controlled by mainstream e-commerce platforms, and self-built platforms cannot achieve the expected results.

5. Insufficient funds

The various sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry are very different. Enterprises at different positions in each industry chain are highly personalized, and the breakthroughs in intelligent manufacturing are also different. There is no template that can be directly copied. The profit margin of my country's manufacturing enterprises is low, and the promotion of intelligent manufacturing often lacks sufficient funds to invest.
